AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #026

This week's special "Thank Heavens for the Christmas Holidays" tune comes from 2009's shining stars, SOLARITY.

Solarity have already made waves this year with 'DNA'
(a previous tune of the week) and 'Terminal 6'. 'LAIKA' is their latest offering

They've really come to the floor under Above & Beyond's Anjunadeep label, known for its less conventional trance than its big brother, Anjunabeats.

Britain's
Ashley Wallbridge's remix of 'Laika' has been featured on Above & Beyond's 'Trance Around The World' podcast and Tiësto's Club Life.'

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #025

This week's tune comes from a relatively unknown duo, Med and Neil Bamford.

'Stolen' has been featured on Above & Beyond's 'Trance Around the World' podcast and has been very popular amongst its followers.

This track is released under Infrasonic Recordings, including a remix by Michael Angelo.

'Stolen' also features remixes by Danilo Ercole and Paul Miller.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #024

This week's tune does no harm to the ever-growing popularity of Jochen Miller.

'Red One,' released this week, unsurprisingly isn't short of energy and thrust. His fully tranced up style has made his music so attractive over the last few years under High Contrast Recordings.

His last solo single
'Brace Yourself' made tune of the week back in August. Jochen then produced 'Melodee/Fin Power' with Mr. Pit in September.

Jochen Miller's sound has developed since the massive 'Lost Connection,' but he hasn't changed it so much that one can't hear echos of it in 'Red One.'

This release also includes a remix by David Forbes.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #023

Matt Cerf, Mistika & Jaren reunite for this week's pick of the bunch.

It's not the first time they've been mentioned in the same breath. They featured on Dash Berlin's 'Man On The Run,' which was massive at the start of the year and will be one of the biggest trance anthems of 2009.

The trio also worked together to produce the impressive 'You Never Said' last year.

So, 'Beggin' You' has a lot to live up to, although Armin van Buuren's remix of it is currently top of the Audiojelly chart.

Just to show how good this lot are together, here they are on the track below: Dash Berlin with Cerf, Mistika & Jaren - Man On The Run

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK WILL BE MOVED TO FRIDAYS AFTER THIS POST!

Sander van Doorn returns for this week's tune with his new single 'Ninety.'

Released under his own label, Doorn Records,
'Ninety' has been highlighted in both Tiësto and Above & Beyond's recent podcasts.

Sander van Doorn was recently made it into the No. 10 DJ's in the world in
DJ Mag's annual public vote.

This is the follow up to the magnificent 'Bliksem,' under his alias Purple Haze,
a former tune of the week.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #021

This week's tune is Filo & Peri's new single, 'Ashley.'

'Ashley' features one of this year's most prominent dance vocalists, Aruna. She featured on Myon & Shane 54's 'Helpless' which was a tune of the week in September.

Filo & Peri are one of the few trance acts to have stirred the commercial scene in recent years. 'Anthem' reached the UK Top 40 singles chart in 2007.

'Ashley,' will be featured on their new album, 'Night Play' and includes remixes by Alex M.O.R.P.H and First State. The main mix can be previewed below.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #020

ATB has come a long way since reaching the UK No. 1 spot 11 years ago.

The prolific German producer may have never equalled the success of '9pm (Till I Come)' but his style has evolved majorly.

His latest LP, 'Future Memories' is a continuation of his ever maturing sound, and this week's tune
'Behind' is a case in point.

'Behind' features a full remix package, including mixes from
EDX.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #019

FKN (a.k.a Frode Kambo Nilsen), Jahala and Deepblue Records team up once again for this week's tune.

FKN, a trance producer from Norway, has worked closely with Jahala since 2007 with much success, and much support from Armin van Buuren. He worked with FKN to produce 'How Long?' in 2008 as well as providing remixes for the Norwegian under his alias, Aly & Fila.

FKN first came onto the dance scene in 2004 with 'Calibro' under his alias Vascotia. It was so successful that it beat Tiësto's massive hit 'Love Comes Again' to No. 1 in the Dutch Dance Charts. This was some achievement with 'Love Comes Again' later making it into the UK Top 40 Singles Chart.

In 2007, FKN & Jahala teamed up with Deepblue Records for the first time with 'Why?' which was supported by
BBC Radio 1. 'Why?' featured on 20 DJ compilations that year, more than any other track.

'Still Time' and 'Unreal To Me' have gained more recognition this year, but FKN is back once more with his latest offering, 'This is the Only Time.'

IF TRANCE COULD BE YOUR THING, TRY THESE...

FKN Feat. Jahala - Still Time (Aly & Fila Remix)

Matt Cerf & Evelio Feat. Jaren - Walk Away

...TWO OF THE BEST TRANCE SONGS YOU ARE LIKELY TO HEAR (AND THEY BOTH HAPPEN TO COME FROM DEEPBLUE!)

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #018

First State return after nearly a year out with this week's tune.

Their new single 'Brave' comes from Tiësto's 'Black Hole Recordings' under the sub-label 'Magik Muzik.' First State have reached a new deal with the trance giants, which should see them releasing two more albums by 2012.

'Brave' features Sarah Howells who has worked with Lange, and more recently provided the vocals for John O'Callaghan's hit 'Find Yourself.'

This new track from First State (a.k.a Sander van Dien) includes remixes by Jonas Steur and Myon & Shane 54.

TWO MASSIVE ALBUMS THIS WEEK...

Tiësto - 'Kaleidoscope'

Includes his single 'I Will Be Here' and features collaborations with Calvin Harris and Nelly Furtado.

Dash Berlin - 'The New Daylight'

Highly anticipated LP in the dance sphere, includes new single 'Waiting' and the massive 'Man on the Run.'

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #017

This week's tune showcases one of the freshest talents and one of the most prolific acts of 2009.

Ummet Ozcan hasn't been away this year with his hits including 'Maya,' 'Synergy' (with W&W) and the massive 'TimeWave Zero.'

Meanwhile, MEM has sprung onto the scene with last week's Audiojelly pick, 'Inspirit/First Contact.'

He has shone again this week with his remix of Ummet Ozcan's new track 'Shamballa' - packed with Ozcan's piercing and upflifting style.

MORE GREAT TRACKS THIS WEEK...

[HOT] DJ Ton T.B - Calculating Darkness [Black Hole Recordings] - Follow up to a previous tune of the week, 'Headrush,' Ton T.B has been one of the most well-respected producers of the year.

Fabio XB Feat. Mickey Vi - Make This Your Day [S107 Records] - It seems like S107 features every week, but yet another great track featuring Gareth Emery remixes.
