AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #011

This week's tune comes from the London-based outfit Solarity with their hard-hitting track, 'DNA.'

Coming from the Anjunadeep label, it is no surprise that 'DNA' has been supported heavily by Above & Beyond.

This release also includes the equally energetic 'Long 41' to complete this 'Double A Side.'

Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman, who make up Solarity, describe their material as 'aggressive progressive' and they are not in the habit of being ignored on the trance scene.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #010

Since 2003, Jochen Miller has been on the rise in the dance scene, but has truly exploded in the last year.

He arguably came to the forefront of trance at the start of 2008 with 'And Then' (with Rank 1). This was his first track to be released under High Contrast Recordings.

If he hadn't been noticed by then, the massive 'Lost Connection' certainly rocked DJ stages across the world following its release in June last year enough to confirm his as a force to be reckoned with.

Now Jochen is back again to knock everyone out with his hard-hitting euphoric tech-trance that characterises his music.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #009

Just a quick note today as my computer will not last very long before it freezes!

This song is just as much Tune of the Week as it is a recognition of the ongoing production of trance from the relatively new label, S107 Records.

This track comes from the same label that brought the recent belters 'Fallen In Too Deep' by Manvel Ter-Pogosyan and David Forbes' 'Because of You.' It is also called 'Because of You' and features the talented trance vocalist Josie.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #008

It's been two years since Tiësto's last LP was released, so news of a new single will be warmly welcomed.

The trance giant was beaten by arch rival Armin van Buuren to the No. 1 DJ accolade from DJ Mag with the help of his mesmeric LP 'Imagine.'

Amidst the constant battle between Armin and Tiësto, it will be interesting to see how Tiësto's eagerly anticipated album, which will be called 'Kaleidoscope' fairs against 'Imagine.'

This week's Tune of the Week is the first single to be taken from 'Kaleidoscope,' which will be released in October.

'I Will Be Here' features the querky electro outfit Sneaky Sound System. It has been remixed by Benny Bennassi and Tiësto himself amongst others.

MOUSSA CLARKE vs. DAKOTA - SHE WANTS CHINOOK (HUTT21 MASH-UP)

If you've ever been on this blog, you'll be familiar with my love for trance music, and I have gone and made my own mash-up to prove this love!

This track features two massive trance tunes from the last year: Moussa Clarke's 'She Wants Him' and Dakota's 'Chinook.'

It's got a promo on ITranceYou too - proud moment!

I had to convert this to mp3 so that I could embed it, so it's only 128kbps but if you want the original just give me a shout!
