AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #016

Like Jochen Miller, Ummet Ozcan and Dubguru? Love MEM!

MEM floods the trance-loving heart with joy with his debut release, 'Inspirit' under Liquid Recordings.

'Inspirit' brings a super tech-trance feel to the attention with shades of Ummet Ozcan's 'TimeWave Zero' and Jochen Miller's 'Lost Connection' - two massive tracks of this year.

It also contains uplifting elements raising comparisons with the magnificent 'U Got 2 Know' by Dubguru, which was also released under Liquid.

This release is a Double-A side, which is completed by the impressive 'First Contact,' which is definitely worth a listen.

MORE GREAT TRACKS THIS WEEK...

[HOT!] Matt Lange Feat. Kerry Leva - Anywhere With You Is Home [S107 Records] - Yet another excellent vocal track from S107 featuring the talented American Kerry Leva.

Tritonal Feat. Cristina Soto – Spellbound [Coldharbour] - Usual beautiful vocals from Soto complimenting Tritonal's uplifting sound.

Ally Brown - Teardrops In Fire [Android] - Perfect blend between sophisticated and gritty, hard-hitting trance.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #015

This (pictured) is the original cover of this week's track, which comes out 8 years on - for a third time!

When Tiƫsto played the Dennis De Laat remix on his podcast in April under the name 'Take Me Away Again', it appeared it may have just been a one off.

But this month yet another full remix set has been dished out for this track that, thankfully, doesn't seem to go away.

'Take Me Away 2009,' last released in 2006, includes Dave Darell remixes and brings this classic up to the present day feel of trance music.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #014

This week’s tune comes from a double act perhaps better known for reworks than releases of their own.

‘Helpless’ is the latest offering from the ever-present Myon & Shane 54 who prove they are capable of mind-blowing tunes of their own – as well as remixes. Both remixes of ‘Helpless’ currently occupy the No. 1 and 2 spots of the Audiojelly chart (17/9).

This gritty yet infectious track features the velvet-like female vocals of Aruna. She has already worked with giants such as ATB, Cosmic Gate and Ronski Speed.

Myon & Shane 54 themselves are never far from the ears of trance followers and have been around for a while now. They have remixed two recent tunes of the week from Armin van Buuren and Khaz & Boris M.D. They seem to remix more tracks than any other artist around.

This track comes from one of the best new labels on the scene, S107 Records, so look no further for vocal trance this week than ‘Helpless.’

MORE GREAT TUNES THIS WEEK...

Arnej - Tomorrow Never Comes [Coldharbour Recordings] - Clinging onto summer with a real Ibiza feel, great follow up to 'Dust In The Wind.'

JPL - Summer Skin/Waking Up With You [In Trance We Trust] - Really do trust this label, JPL always worth a listen too.

Dan Stone - Mumbai [Anjunabeats] - Upbeat banger from Above & Beyond's massive label.

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #013

Everything that is good about vocal trance is on display in this week's tune.

It comes from the relatively new outfit Phuture Sound and features the mystical tones of Angie.

'Come To Me' comes from A State of Trance Recordings - the brainchild of Armin van Buuren.

ASOT is also responsible for artists such as Thomas Bronzwaer and has assisted in the success of trance veterans, Signum.

The release includes the original mix and an 'ASOT Reconstruction.'

AUDIOJELLY TUNE OF THE WEEK #012

This week's tune is a re-release of one of the best trance tunes of all time - let alone this year!

Originally from Liquid Recordings, Ferry Corsten's label Maelstrom has snapped up 'U Got 2 Know' by Dubguru.

The Dubguru are made up by experienced producers Johan Gielen (Airscape) and Ben Huijbregts (Virtual Vault) who have come together to create this track, which has beeen described as a "megabomb" by Sander van Doorn.

'U Got 2 Know,' originally released in March, comes complete with a new remix by Jupiter Ace and a Radio Edit of the version by Carlos.

Below is a preview of the Jupiter Ace remix (just because it's newer), but don't forget to check out the Original and Carlos mixes!
